Funky Fish Art and Fishing in Destin

Back before most of our time was consumed with running a business and raising five kids, one of Andy’s main hobbies was fishing. Fish were and are one of his favorite art subjects. His fish art ranges from simple acrylic paintings to very involved assemblage art. Some pieces are realistic, while Andy lets his creativity run free on others. Here are examples of some of his favorites pieces from the past several years…

Showing you 15 pieces may have been overkill, but it was so hard to narrow down our favorite pieces. He’s made a LOT!

Did you know that Destin is called the World’s Luckiest Fishing Village? Fishing is great year-round here. Our friends Chris and Heather of Destin Vacation Boat Rentals have compiled a report of the fish you can find both inshore and offshore:

Perhaps you’re like me and you’re too lazy to catch your own fish, let alone prep it to cook. No worries! There are many great restaurants that offer locally-caught fish. Two of our Destin favorites include Dewey Destin’s Harborside and Camille’s.

It’s possible that Andy has fish art currently available for purchase. But if not, you can always contact him about a custom piece.
