Although Andy has been expressing himself artistically since childhood, he didn’t begin to pursue art as a full-time profession until early 2010. In fact, Andy waited until I (his wife) was pregnant with our fifth child to announce his intentions. I contemplated the term “starving artist” while hoping and praying for the best.
Andy was determined to chase his dream and his dedication paid off. Within two and a half years, he was named the 2013 Visit South Walton Artist of the Year, a coveted title along 30A. Three years after announcing his intentions of becoming a full-time working artist, he opened his own gallery in Grayton Beach. It’s been a whirlwind, and I’m thankful to announce that we aren’t starving. Whew!
